Well done Shania! You have learnt heaps about the Tangata Whenua - the people of the land. I like how you have explained that the Maori words for seafood are kai moana. The Maori and Moriori were proven to be from the same people through their DNA and language. It was too cold to grow crops in the South Island of New Zealand so most Maori settled at the top of the North Island. Keep up the great work Shania.
