Māui
Hi readers, today we have got a holiday summer learning journey to do for the holidays.
For our first activity we need to find 3 facts about the legend of māui and put them in ur own words.My 3 facts are:
1. The Māui dolphins only have a short life they live up to 20 years of living.
2. Māui dolphin are the smallest of the world’s 32 dolphin species.
3. Femalesgrow to 1.7 meteres long and weigh upto 50 kg

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading through these facts about Māui dolphins. I never knew that they're the smallest of the world’s 32 dolphin species, this is mind-blowing! I would love to come across them in the ocean one day. Have you ever seen a dolphin in real life before? They travel in herds and their course of journey is always unpredictable. Did you know that they have a small black rounded dorsal fin? I just saw some images of them and it seems like they would be easily identifiable (we can tell them apart) if we do ever come across one!
Do you have a favourite animal Shania? I love elephants and horses because they are such majestic creatures. I would love to know what yours are :)
