The Present

W.A.L.T:  Write a narrative

Success Criteria
I know I will be successful when….

  • The title is suitable for the text.
  • The orientation tells who the story is about, and when and where the story happened.
  • The complication describes a problem and explains what happened next.
  • The resolution explains how the problem was solved.
  • Seeks feedback and makes changes to texts to improve clarity and meaning.

In Ako Ngatahi we had to write a narrative about a video. It was about a boy opening a present that was a dog with three legs. Here is the video of the present.

On one beautiful sunny day I was playing on my play station a couple minutes later my mum came home with a present for me. So I opend it out came a dog I got the dog out and chucked it because it had a broken arm. I didn't like it but I got used to it the dog saw a red ball ant kept tripping over when he was trying to get the ball when he got it he brung it to me i just kicked it  and he chased it so i thought for a minute maybe he likes me so i grabbed my crutches and the ball and went outside to play with it.
